Acer Aspire One D255 is the latest netbook with a 10.1-inch display. The netbook uses dual-core processor Atom N550, which Intel plans to release in the current quarter. Clock chip – 1.5 GHz technology supports Hyper-Threading, which is due to concurrent processing of up to four streams of instructions.
The Aspire One D255 has the hard drive capacity up to 250 GB, 1 GB RAM, adapters, wireless Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, a webcam and 6-cell battery. LED-backlit display has a native resolution of 1024 × 600 pixels, is responsible for processing graphics integrated video core Intel GMA 3150. It’s weigh no more than 1,25 kg; shell thickness is 24 mm. The claimed battery life – up to 8 hours. No information on price and availability.
