Standing with feet slightly apart, position your arms straight down in front of you almost against your body – with your weights almost touching. Bend your elbows and lift your weights towards your chin, bringing your elbows out to the side, in line with your shoulders. Return to the starting position and repeat.

Arms and Chest

The classic push up. With your hands shoulder width apart place your palms on the floor. Stretch out your body with either your knees on the floor, or if you’re feeling ambitious, your toes – so you are supporting your body weight. Keeping your back straight and using your arms lower yourself gently toward the floor until you are hovering just over it. Push yourself slowly back to your starting position and repeat. Remember – don’t lower yourself to the point where you come into contact with the floor, it’ll be much harder to push back up.

Arms

In a sitting position with your back straight, relax your arms in line with your body. Grip your weights with your palms facing upwards and curl them up towards your shoulders, then back down again. Repeat. Keep your torso still and back straight, let your arms do the work.

Forearms

Holding your weight with your arm outstretched in front of you, tilt your wrist up and down repeatedly. Try doing this with both an overhand and underhand grip on your weight. Do one arm at a time.

The love story video shoot was held at the charming Senate Park among the blooming flowers on the West Capital grounds in the middle of Pennsylvania Avenue on a beautiful warm sunny day with the Nations Capital as the backdrop. It was a fun photo shoot! Just before they were introduced into the room, their love story was projected on two of Suburban Videos theatre style screens in the new ballroom. The bride and groom were grandly introduced as husband and wife to a standing ovation.
Suburban Video was able to capture images from each part of this magnificent Indian wedding. The first day of celebration was the engagement party at the Ritz-Carlton at Tysons Corner, Virginia. Colorful costumes abounded as choreographed dances and vocal routines filled the atmosphere by siblings, family and friends. The parents of Rachna and Nitin hosted each of the traditional five-day ceremonial activities, beginning with the Sangeet on August 8, 2009, which is a pre-wedding ceremony where the women all gather to sing and dance, allowing the two families to bond. The next celebration was the Ganesh Pooja and Lagan Patrika on August 25, 2009, hosted by Nitins family, the Goels. On the same day, Rachnas mother Manju hosted the Mehandi celebration for her daughter. This beautiful artwork of henna, that is applied to the brides skin, traditionally includes working in the grooms name on her somewhere, and the groom is supposed to find it somewhere on his bride!
The beautiful five-day wedding culminated at a reception at the gorgeous Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay Golf Resort and Marina on August 29, 2009. The wedding ceremony includes the Baraat, where guests dance and celebrate Nitins journey on Mini the elephant to his wedding where he is greeted by Rachnas mother. After the beautiful ceremony, which was held outside, a cocktail session concluded with an amazing firework display. At the reception, the bride and groom were grandly introduced as husband and wife to a standing ovation after seeing this stunning video showing their love for each other. The Vidal, which is the next celebration, marks the end of the marriage ceremony. It is one of the most emotional moments for it is the formal departure of the bride from her parents home to her grooms. As a symbol of prosperity and wealth Rachna throws rice over her head onto her parents which also signifies her gratitude for all they have given to her as she bids farewell. Rachna and Nitin board the yacht and sail off under the moonlight.

I’m not the fan of shopping malls and shopping, but I’ve visited several good looking malls during the years, but I’ve never seen something like this before. This mall is designed by Ron Arad Architects, and like all Ron Arad Architects’s buildings it has a unique design. As for this amazing mall, it is located near Santiago Calatrava’s high speed rail station in Liège, Belgium. This mall is named Médiacité and it has 1150 feet, or 350 meters, long winding spine that connects the two mall buildings together. I have to admit that this mall looks incredible and quite futuristic because of the complex network of steel roof ribs that hold the mall together. Besides holding the building together, these ribs arch over the mall’s main pathway creating a spectacular sight for its visitors. This mall is simply huge, and it’s well lighted due to the ribs that cross with each other. Great part of this mall is covered in translucent material, therefore this mall gets enough sunlight during the day, and besides sunlight, the roof provides one of the most amazing sights that you saw. Like I said before, this is one amazing mall, and if you’re visiting Belgium anytime soon make sure that you check this mall out.

The 2011 Ford Explorer is a drastic departure from its predecessors, ditching body-on-frame construction in favor of a unibody structure, and sharing its platform with the Taurus sedan (as well as the Flex, Lincoln MKS and MKT). This shift to a traditional crossover construction has not turned away buyers, however, and Ford reports that Explorer pre-orders have nearly doubled original projections.

According to The Detroit News, Ford has received roughly 15,000 orders for the 2011 Explorer. This includes about 3,000 retail and 7,500 dealer orders, as well as an additional 4,500 orders from companies.

Jason Mase, Ford's manager of utility vehicles, told The Detroit News that about 55 percent of buyers are opting for the trailer tow package, and 64 percent want all-wheel drive. Mase says that consumers don't really care if the vehicle is a crossover or an SUV, the major concern is that the vehicle fits their specific needs. So far, so good, and Ford expects this trend to continue after the Explorer officially hits dealerships in early 2011.

    * Determine what kind of makeup you will be using on the big day based on the time the wedding is taking place. This makes a huge difference in how the makeup will photograph (see Resources for more details). Softer shades of makeup are best for early morning nuptials. Noontime weddings call for more definition, using the same natural shades used in the early morning. Feel free to use a richer color palette for late-afternoon weddings. At night, you may use even darker or more vivid shades, as long as you stick with colors from a classic palette, such as pinks, berries, browns and grays.
    * Dot and blend moisturizer on a clean face. Use an oil-free formula to get your skin ready for makeup, as a moisturizer that contains oil will break down the cosmetics you will be applying. After allowing the moisturizer to absorb for about five minutes, press a facial tissue all over your face to take away any excess. Squirt a pinch of makeup primer onto your palm and apply this from the center of your face outward. Primer creates a smooth base for your makeup and will help it last throughout the day.
    * Choose a foundation which does not match your skin tone exactly and has a texture as well that works with your skin type. This is a preventive measure that will keep your makeup on for the duration of your event. Oily skin is best suited to powder or creme foundations, while drier skin looks best with a liquid foundation. A formulation with a matte finish is best in any case, as light-reflective foundation will appear shiny in pictures. However, if your skin is very dry and you want to appear somewhat dewy, you may use a foundation that adds the faintest sheen to your skin. Make sure this foundation does not contain evident shimmer particles. If you are worried you are going to cry at any time during the wedding, look into using waterproof makeup (see Resources for more information). After applying your foundation, buff away any demarcation lines using a makeup wedge.
    * Apply a creamy, salmon-hued concealer under your eyes, and on the inner corners of your eyes by the bridge of your nose, if these areas still appear dark after you’ve applied foundation. Use a clean finger to gently press the concealer into your skin rather than blending back and forth, which will pull on your skin and erase any product you’ve worked hard to apply. A salmon-hued concealer covers shadows on the eye area without creating the raccoon effect that a too-light flesh tone concealer will. For blemishes, use a camouflaging concealer with a dry consistency. This concealer should match your foundation, as you don’t want to put imperfections in the spotlight with a concealer that is too light or too dark. Dust a finishing or translucent powder over your face to set your base and concealer. If there are any spots that you’ve carefully concealed, do not use a sweeping motion, as this will lift away the product; instead, press the powder onto these areas with the makeup wedge.
    * Enhance eyebrows with a either a brow pencil or powder applied with a stiff-angled brush. Do not just go over the sparse areas in your brows – bring out the shape of your brows by using light strokes to mimic the appearance of fine hairs. Choose a shade slightly lighter than your brows if they are dark, and slightly darker than your brows if they are light. Invest in a brow grooming kit so that you can tweeze the strays that grow outside of your brow line, as well as trim hairs that are too long. Save time on your wedding day by grooming your brows the day before.
    * Apply an eye primer from lash line to brow bone. After the primer absorbs, smooth an eyeshadow base on, also from lash line to brow bone. This helps your eyeshadow resist creasing and appear more vivid and pigmented. If you are using soft colors, stipple on a midtone eyeshadow from lash line to slightly above the crease with a flat-head eyeshadow brush. If you want more dramatic eye makeup, use a darker eyeshadow. In either case, run the brush along your lower lash lines to transfer some of the eyeshadow here and bring balance to your eye makeup. Soften the edges of your application on your lids with a fluffy eyeshadow brush, blending until just under the brow bone. This creates a somewhat smoky effect. Dab a flesh-tone highlight under the arches of your brows to give them a lift. The highlighting product that you use should not contain any evident glitter or shimmer particles, although a mild sheen is permissible.
    * Bring out the shape of your eyes with a creamy eyeliner pencil. You can use black if you have dark features or if your wedding is taking place in the evening. Otherwise, stick with dark brown, gray, navy or dark purple, depending on what complements your eyeshadow color. Work the eyeliner into your upper lash lines to make your lashes seem thicker without actually drawing a line on your lids. For extra definition, you may apply a waterproof liquid eyeliner in black, gray or dark brown afterward again, base your choice on the rest of your eye makeup. Keep the line close to your lashes. Curl your eyelashes and apply black, soft black or dark brown waterproof mascara to your lashes. Dislodge any clumps with your mascara wand for a clean look. While you may apply three coats on your top lashes, avoid getting spiky and unnatural lower lashes by applying only one coat here.
    * Find the blush and lip color best suited to you by choosing a more vivid version of your cheek and lip colors. This is a foolproof way of wearing blush and lip color. Dust blush on the apples of your cheeks, blending away any hard edges in your application with the makeup wedge. For long-lasting lip color on your wedding day, find a lip stain, lip liner and lipstick all in the same shade. Blend the lip stain onto your lips. This will give your lips color even if the rest of your lip makeup has disappeared later in the day. With a creamy lip liner, trace over your lip line, and fill in your lips. Finish by using a lip brush to apply the lipstick, blending from the center of your lips outwards. If you wish, top it off with a dab of clear lip gloss, applied also from the center of your lips outward.

Prince Saint Vladimir – The World’s First and Only Chapel Boat

The Prince Saint Vladimir is basically an old boat converted into a floating church that could make the sacred relics on board accessible to people in remote areas along the Volga River.

This isn’t the world’s first floating church, communities living on water have built plenty of them all around the world, but the Prince Saint Vladimir (named after the saint who baptized Russia) is the world’s first self-propelled chapel boat. Built back in 2004, the unique church was designed to reach even the shallowest waters, so that all the people of the Volvograd region could have access to a church and priest. There were two other similar churches built before, but because they were practically converted barges, they could only be moved by tugboats. The Prince Saint Vladimir is, however, a self-propelled craft.

On September 13, 2010, the great river voyage of the Prince Saint Vladimir began. The floating church will travel around 3,000 kilometers along the shores of the Volga, from the river mouth, all the way to Moscow. It will make stops in both cities and small communities along the shores, allowing people access to relics of eight great saints from the era of the Undivided Church. Its voyage will take the sacred ship to areas that have suffered from drought and terrible wildfires, and the Russian Church hopes it will bring comfort to locals.

Along with the captain and ship crew, a priest will be on board the Prince Saint Vladimir at all times, and he will celebrate the Sacred Liturgy at every stop.

Full-size luxury sedans are typically guilty pleasures since they can be either coddling, comfort machines or all-out speed freaks. One thing they haven't been is fuel efficient... until now. Making its debut at the 2010 LA Auto Show is the 2012 Buick LaCrosse eAssist.

Power for the LaCrosse eAssist is provided by a 2.4-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine with direct-injection. It gains an efficiency boost through the addition of a 115V lithium-ion battery pack, which allows the fuel system to take a nap during certain conditions. These two power systems working together, along with the six-speed automatic transmission, allow the Buick LaCrosse eAssist to achieve 25 miles per gallon in the city and 37 mpg on the highway – a 25% percent improvement compared to the 2.4-liter flying solo. Consider this the reinvention of GM's long lost mild hybrid system.

Pricing for the 2012 Buick LaCrosse eAssist is expected to start around $30,000. What's more, the hybrid system will be fitted standard to all LaCrosse models equipped with the 2.4-liter Ecotec engine. More green luxury information is sprouting just after the jump.

Lasers & Electrolysis

Obviously, we haven’t brought in home laser hair removal products or equipment or even electrolysis machines to try out. We leave those for the medical offices and salons. They need to be in the hands of highly trained and licensed professionals. Even with that protection, some people end up with permanent skin discoloration and serious pain. So be careful and check out the equipment, technician and clinic carefully.

We did try one of those home electric tweezers, which is in some ways similar to electrolysis. It didn’t work well for us, but maybe someone else might have better results. Depilatory Creams

We also tried depilatories for home hair removal. We learned a lesson there, too, the hard way. It sounded so good and easy. Just smooth the cream on, wait for the hair to dissolve and scrape off then rinse.

Here’s some free advice which we missed in the fine print. Be sure to try the depilatory on a small skin area and wait 24 hours BEFORE you cover some poor guy’s whole back with it. Home back hair removal can turn into home back skin removal. Some people with sensitive skin get terrible rashes and chemical burn reactions. For those whose skin isn’t quite as sensitive, it can be a good choice.

Hair Inhibitors

However, the hair inhibitor products are totally different from the hair removal creams and we did think they were quite effective. They actually slow down the growth making hair removal much easier in the long run.

Waxing

We had slightly better results with the home waxing kit. At least with home waxing hair removal products the severe pain only lasts a few seconds repeated many times. Here the idea is to cover an area of unwanted hair with warm wax and add a strip of cloth. The unwanted body hair needs to be at least 1/4 inch long for the wax to successfully, “get a grip”, on it.

Once the wax has cooled, you grab hold of the cloth strip and yank. Your partner is likely to scream at this point as the hairs are ripped out by their roots. It was hard for me to go ahead and put him through the same process many more times to clear the whole area. The old saying, “this hurts me as much as it does you”, wrung my heart. And then I realized he’d be doing the same thing to me in a few minutes!

The good news about home hair removal waxing is it lasts about 4 weeks before you have to repeat the process. It is also relatively inexpensive.

Here’s A Little More Free Advice

Don’t plan to go to the beach or have a second honeymoon for several days after your waxing. Otherwise, you’ll learn a new meaning for having a, “tender moment.”

We’ve tried both wet blade razors and electric shavers for our home hair removal. Most people say if you’re going to use an electric shaver for home body hair removal, you’re better off with a foil style rather than a rotary style. Other things to look out for are getting a wet/dry model so you can do your hair removal in the shower where the hot water will soften the hairs. Some of these models also dispense shaving gel.

A shaver with a quick charger can be a lifesaver if you are half done when the battery dies. And some of the new personal shavers are really easy hair removal products and painless to use.

If you’re looking at wet blade razors for home hair removal always use a brand new fresh sharp blade. Choose a razor with extra cushions and guards to give you more protection. Some body areas are a bit extra tricky to shave. A nick or a cut, “down there”, can cause more problems than one.
